back story: The dragoons were formed by a god of dragons. A gold one the son of Bahmut. There job was to protect people from evil. Good races of human elfs and the such went threw training and were pared with good dragons. Together they would fight side by side to stop evil dragon attacks and just keep the peace. The kingdom of dragoons did really well and other kingdoms often called on them for help.

 

Info: Ruby is a red dragon normally an evil aliment dragon she was a bit odd being good. Rumors started about a shadow dragon joining the dragoons. So she went to check it out, finding out that the shadow dragon known as Ray was a really good dragon amused her a bit. She soon joined the ranks becoming the first red dragon. Over the years other good of what is known of the bad colors also joined but none were as famous as Ray and Ruby. They would often work together her female rider and Rays male rider were friends. Years past and it was clear Ray was in love with Ruby's human rider. Every one was ok with this they had plans to marry and start a family in a few years. But a war was going on a queen known as Lady Darkness had brought together hunters and at times the dragons were losing with the knew methods they would come up with to kill them. Sadly one of those new methods was a spell known as the darkness spike. When it was frist made they knew nothing of it but the spell would only grow in those who had a bit of evil in there hearts. And even dragoons had evil. A lot of there men turned against them one of those men was rays rider. He killed Ruby's partner Darla and almost turned the tied for some hunters they were fighting at the time. They managed to win though and left the trader alive and turned him in Ray soon left the dragoons as did Ruby. She was gifted by the god though for her service she and her rider where trying for the highest honor you could get in the dragoons she was named holy dragoon and given an immortal life. Now and then she helps out the dragons. She has kept solo over the years in a place known as the fire lake. Once in a while she will take a mate and have a child but she wacths as they grow old and die or leave to do there own thing. With dragon magic she can take a human from and walk around human towns (citys) when she likes and now and then does just that
